Last Thursday, I was invited along to Ted Baker & Moore, Ted Baker's experimental shop at Old Spitalfield's Market in London. The shop is an eclectic mix of "superbly stylish items hand-picked by the man himself" and the home of #NOT, No Ordinary Thursday; which sees a new in-store event happening every Thursday. Definitely worth watching.
To celebrate the launch of the new #sixstarstyle campaign, I was asked to draw portraits of customers in-store. Here's some pics of me and my lovely models.
During London Fashion Week, I was in-store at the newly opened Walter and Herbert eyewear store in Seven Dials, Covent Garden. To celebrate the launch of their new sunglasses collection, I was invited to draw portraits of people trying on their favourite sunglasses.
And, in true London Fashion Week style, I had an eclectic mix of stylish and flamboyant people coming along 💕
Thanks for having me Walter & Herbert, you were a great team to work with!
A couple of weekends ago, I was delighted to be drawing in-house at Harrods. I was invited by Links of London to create bespoke, hand-drawn packaging to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Throughout their anniversary campaign, Links had used the London skyline and wanted to keep this theme for their Harrods events, although we threw in some lovely Harrods-inspired designs too.
AND, next weekend, 27th-29th November, I'll be back at Harrods for their Black Friday 10% off weekend. Come and find me and say hello.
Here's a few pictures of my handiwork.
and a few pictures from Harrod's instagram page:
I've just had some pictures sent to me courtesy of Lauren at Circle Agency who helped to co-ordinate the nationwide H&M events. Thanks for letting me share the pics.
I was in-store at Selfridges for two days drawing portraits. It was a challenge, since I had to work using fabric pens - meaning that I had to change my style a little to meet the brief. Plus, fabric pens are pretty dry and don't glide very easily over canvas. Not my ideal drawing tool, but a really ingenious use of live drawing.
Here's some pics by the lovely Rob Cartwright:
I've been back on the road this month, this time with the fabulous jewellers, Links of London. I was invited along to take part in their #NarrateYourStyle events and was in-store sketching customers.
The campaign was across all of their regional stores too, so I was able to take in the sights of Liverpool, Glasgow and Cardiff as well as four of their London stores.
Here's some pics taken by the ever-talented Rob Cartwright, with thanks to Rob and Links of London.
Carrying on with my live fashion drawing events, I went along to the Bloggers love #LFW event to draw the gorgeous bloggers. It was crazily busy, and great fun.
A big thanks to everyone that got a sketch, for the kind reviews and Instagram pictures.
