One of my favourite windows this year; a hand-painted window for Bar Des Prés, the Franco-Japanese restaurant on Albemarle Street in Mayfair. The team asked me to paint blossom across the glass to mark the closing of their original location, as the restaurant moves to its new home on South Audley Street.
Blossom felt just right; it sits at the heart of Bar Des Prés's Japanese-fusion identity and with London in full spring bloom, the timing couldn't have been better. Soft pink branches against deep navy woodwork; the contrast is striking and adds a real splash of colour to the street.
You can see a short video on Instagram.
If you're a brand or interior design studio looking to bring something hand-painted and seasonal to your windows, I'd love to hear from you.
x, Willa
