I always love when Marc Jacobs call me me for a leather painting event.
I was invited back to their Bicester Village store as part of the Bark Jacobs campaign — a celebration of all things pets, where customers could have their dogs (and cats!) hand-painted directly onto their handbags in-store. I'm one of three trusted leather painters that Marc Jacobs UK work with, so it's always a real privilege to be part of these activations.
There's something brilliant about painting pets. Customers bring in photos of their pets, and watching their faces as their dog or cat takes shape on the leather is genuinely one of the best parts of the job. Each client comes with a story and memories, and every single bag ends up completely unique and so precious.
Thanks as always to the Marc Jacobs team for having me back. Already looking forward to the next one. 🐾
If you're a fashion brand or leather goods company looking for an in-store personalisation artist in London — whether that's hand-painted illustrations, monogramming, or bespoke artwork — I'd love to hear from you.
