I was recently invited to draw at a TK Maxx influencer event. The evening was an intimate relaxed dinner in a private dining room at the stylish Mortimer House Kitchen. I photographed each of the attendees at the start of the evening, with their consent, then drew their portraits during dinner, capturing the TK Maxx outfit they'd chosen for the night. At the end of the meal, each guest received their finished illustration as a gift.
It's an approach that works especially well for intimate dining events. Nobody is pulled away from conversation or their food, the illustration happens in the background, and the reveal at the end becomes a lovely moment in itself. For brands working with influencers, the portraits also make for naturally shareable content - people love seeing themselves illustrated.
If you're planning a brand dinner, product launch, or press event and want something that adds a creative, personal dimension, let's talk.
