Mother's Day is one of those occasions that deserves a little more thought than a last-minute card. so Fulham Pier brought in live illustration to make their bottomless brunch truly unforgettable.
Throughout the event, I photographed mothers with their children between courses; little ones perched on laps, grown-up children raising a glass, and worked from those photos to create each portrait. By the end of brunch, every guest had a finished illustration waiting for them as a gift to take home.

It's a process that works beautifully in dining settings. Guests enjoy their meal completely undisturbed, and the finished artwork still feels personal and immediate.
